آنچه مسلم است این فیلم را نمی توان جزو بهترین های دهه اخیر دانست ، حتی منتقدین آنرا جزو 10 مورد از بدترین فیلم های سال 2019 قرار داده اند.
اما همانطور که میدانید داستان جالبش این فیلم را در زمره سرگرمی های عامه پسند هالیوود گنجانده با فرمولی کاملا تکراری از چند شخصیت مرد که د ر مقابل تعدادی کودک دردسرساز قرار میگیرند ، تنهایی آتشبانان، دلشکستگی های کودکانه و فرارهای مشکل ساز آنان باعث یک سری حوادث جالب میشود که شخصیت های فیلم با در کنار هم قرار گرفتن ، کمبودهای خود را شناخته ودر نهایت با در کنار هم قرار گرفتن، حس کامل بودن را در خود می یابند .
استفاده از یک فرمول کلیشه ای پیش پا افتاده صرفا به معنی بد بودن فیلم نیست بلکه برعکس انتظار ما ، چنین تکرارهایی میتواند گاهی جالب و حتی نو آورانه باشد .
بد نیست اشاره کنیم به سینمای اکشن و پر تلاطم کارخانه هالیوود که در ورطه مسائل جنسی ، خشونت و جنایت دست و پا میزند و یافتن اینگونه فیلم ها با وجود کمی و کاستی های فیلم و سناریو ضعیف و تکراری با بازی بازیگران تازه کار اما محبوب (جان سینا ورزشکار محبوب کشتی کج)، بسیار حائز اهمیت است و نمیتوان از آن چشم پوشید که به نظر میرسد جایگزینی برای آرنولد شوارتزنگر (با کارنامه موفق هنری) است با همان بیس اما تازه وارد .
ناگفته نماند که بخش قابل توجهی از جوانان امریکایی به دنبال دیدن فیلم های عجیب و نامانوس پا به سینما میگذارند وبه این دلیل فیلم مورد توجه واقع نشد اما خوراک خوبی برای خارج از مرزهای امریکاست ...
پس هر فیلم مخاطبان خاص خودش را پیدا میکند .

What is certain is that this film cannot be considered one of the best in the last decade, and even its critics have made it one of the 10 worst films of 2019.
But as you know, the interesting story of this film is included in the category of popular Hollywood entertainment with a completely repetitive formula of several male characters who are confronted with a number of troublesome children, the loneliness of firefighters, childish frustrations and their troubled escapes. It is interesting that the characters of the film recognize their shortcomings by being together, and finally, by coming together, they find the feeling of being perfect.
Using a trivial stereotypical formula does not only mean that the film is bad, but contrary to our expectations, such repetitions can sometimes be interesting and even innovative.
It's worth noting the action-packed Hollywood cinema industry, which is mired in sexuality, violence and crime, and finding such films despite the film's shortcomings and weak and repetitive scenarios with the role of novice but popular actors ( John Cena, a popular wrestling athlete, is very important and cannot be overlooked, which seems to be an alternative to Arnold Schwarzenegger (with a successful artistic career) with the same base but newcomer.
Not to mention that a significant part of American youths go to the cinema to see strange and unfamiliar films, and for this reason, the film was not considered, but it is a good food outside the borders of the United States ...

شروع این پروژه فیلم سازی در 2017 و اتمام 2020 و استارت کار2018 زده شد در منطقه ای نزدیک کشور انگلستان .
فیلمی پرهزینه که با شکست مواجه شد علی رغم استفاده از بازیگران و صدا پیشگان مشهور نتوانست انتظارات مالی خوبی را برای کمپانی خود داشته باشد. منتقدان خارجی براین باورند که: پول کیفیت لازم را خریداری نمیکند ، اما غالبا صلاحیت خرید را خریداری میکند .
فیلمی سینمایی با شروع سکانس های پر از رنگ ، تابلو های نقاشی قدیمی جاندارانیمیشنی ، حرف زدن با حیوانات و جانوران و فهمیدن زبان آنها و یادآوری داستان زندگی حضرت سلیمان و باغ ارم و ... که حس نوستالژیک در بیننده ایجاد میکند.
موضوعی قدیمی و تکراری ، سوژه های کهنه و نخ نما ، پر از دیالوگها وتراکتهای قابل پیش بینی باعث شد در هفته اول اکران، فروش بسیار کمتراز پیش بینی کمپانی یونیورسال استودیوز باشد. درنتیجه تولید و فکرادامه دار کردن این فیلم پایان یافت.
فیلم های بسیاری درسالهای اخیر ساخته شده که در آن حیوانات سخنگو نقش آفرینی میکنند وهمانطور که میدانید، آرزوی حرف زدن با حیوانات دیگر در کودکان هیجان برانگیز نیست. کسی دلش نمیخواهد در اتاق استریل جراحی ، حیوانات غیر استریل وحشی و بی دست و پا ببیند ... حتی اگر دامپزشک آنجا حضور داشته باشد.
اما زرق و برق فیلم کودک را همچنان به سینما میکشاند و برای بزرگسالان مضحک و وقت پرکن است، دلیل آن هم استفاده از فرمول های پیش پا افتاده و تمرکز سازندگان فیلم روی جوک ها و سکانسهای بد است.(خارج کردن اشیاء عجیب از روده اژدها و کنایه های انگلیسی شترمرغ از نیمرودرجهت سقط جنین)
در نهایت آنچه ما از آن بی نصیب ماندیم در دوبله فیلم بود که دولیتل با لهجه ولزی نقش آفرینی میکند و این برای مخاطبان انگلیسی زبان بسیار مورد توجه قرار گرفت که دوبلرهای داخلی از پس آن برنیامده اند و ظاهری متفاوت به بازیگری متفاوت داده است.
عده ای این فیلم را کپی ناموفق ازدو فیلم به نمایش در آمده قدیمی میدانند که با رنگ و لعابی جدید به نمایش درآمده است .(بر اساس شخصیت داستانی کتاب سفرهای دکتر دولیتل به نویسندگی هیولافتینگ)
استفاده از بازیگر مشهور رابرت داونی جونیور (تونی استارک در کمپانی مارول IronMan) , و چند سال در نقش شرلوک هلمز و هالک و فیلم های TheAvengers که دومین سوپر استار پر درآمد هالیوود نامزد اسکار در طول تاریخ سینما است بازهم نتوانست فروش این فیلم را تضمین کند .
آنتونیو باندراس نیز در نقشی متفاوت ظاهر شد ودیگر صدا پیشگان مشهور که انتظار بیننده را بالاتر میبرد ولی در نهایت چیز دیگری نصیبش شد ...
